Random Thoughts

In no particular order

1.  Facebook has taken away from my blogging efforts....it's kinda like the text messaging of blogging.  Certainly teaching me to be brief but not always reflective of my personality.
2.  When was the last time you "wrote" anything.  Not typing (or keyboarding if you are young) or texting or emailing but WRITING as in printing or cursive.  We're quickly losing the art of handwriting.  Seriously other than signing my signature on checks (and that's also becoming another lost art) or electronically, I seldom write anything other than my to do lists.   Need to do better at that.
3. My youngest nephew turned 21 last weekend!!!  SERIOUSLY????  ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
4. My oldest great-niece TURNED 12 yesterday!!!!  SERIOUSLY???  ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

And finally, IU basketball is back where it belongs.  Last year gave me a hint that we were returning to our glory years.  Soon, the grey years of Mike Davis and the black years of Kelvin Sampson will just be a horrible memory.  Long Live Tom Crean.  And though in the past, there were various players I did not like to watch play (Dan Dakich was one of them), this year's team is FABULOUS.
